What makes your puzzles so safe for children?
- We use Greenguard Gold non-toxic inks and all natural ingredients. ZERO plastics or chemical paints. Our timber is strong and easily cleaned. Everyone can FEEL the difference between wood and plastic in their hands, especially children.
How are your products packaged?
- Each puzzle is packaged by hand in a beautiful designer box with a great information card inside, full of interesting facts about each animal and bird in the puzzle.
- Our packaging is all made from recycled cardboard, eliminating all plastics, while any other waste products are taken to our locally approved waste management depot for guaranteed safe disposal.
What does certified “Australian made” actually mean?
- As we are certified Made in Australia (Licence no.12303), we are legally qualified to display the Australian Made logo.
- We design, manufacture, assemble and package all our products in either our Sydney and Regional Victoria based workshops.
- We also support our Australian grown partners, such as our graphic designer, associate artist, box maker and printer.
Do you actually design and manufacture your products?
- Yes we do! We have been a family owned Australian business for many years and all our products are designed, manufactured, assembled and packaged in our Sydney and regional Victoria based workshops.
Are your products safe to send overseas or take through customs?
- Yes, all our products are made from processed wood and are sealed for safety and protection and therefore are suitable to send overseas or take through customs.
- Our products are lightweight and easy to carry or post, making them an ideal gift.
Are your products waterproof?
- Our wooden coasters have been coated with high quality varnish for protection and can repel a normal amount of moisture.
- If liquid spills on any of our decorative puzzles, decorations and jewellery we recommend they be wiped clean as quickly as possible.
- Most natural wood products are not meant to be submersed in water or any other liquid for any length of time.
What is your manufacturing process?
- Each puzzle is laser cut from FSC approved Australian native timber & printed with quality eco-friendly, Greenguard Gold UL2818 certified non-toxic ink.
- We are very conscious of protecting our environment at all times during our production processes. We have installed a multi-layer absolute filtration system, which involves both a particulate and chemical filter, in order to remove 99.9% of particles from any exhaust fumes created by the laser cutting system.
How are your materials eco-friendly & sustainable?
- We source timber from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved forests. This ensures the timber has been grown under an approved sustainable management system which protects the local environment, the local animal habitats and the local community as a whole from being harmed.
- We laser cut our wood products from processed and sustainably sourced. GreenTag certified Queensland hoop pine and various other Australian timber veneers.
